The street crime is a very big problem that is caused by the poverty that exists in big cities and lack of employment that are currently.

The street crime and the drug traffic generates a millions of dollars each year and causes many deaths, as a result, this creates domination and respect on the population and all this full of corruption to the government.
The government has created a new police force that controls crime in the streets.

Street Crime is an important social problem.
The most of the crimes are carried out by teenagers, the cause of this often is the kind of friendships that have, because they have no money, disturbed children, among others.
Many examples of street crime are vandalism, all kinds of theft, clandestine fights between gangs, graffiti, sell drugs, etc.
However the government should have done many campaigns to prevent this type of crime.
Nowadays the street crime is increasing and the consequence of this is causing fear in people.

Graffiti consists of inscriptions, slogans and drawings scratched, scribbled or painted on a wall or other public or private surface.

The graffiti is a form of express art and is a way of demonstrating our emotions and our way of thinking, but the people use this as excuse and becomes a big problem. is very important know where paint because There are times that becomes graffiti vandalism. It is costly, destructive, lowers property values and sends a message that people of the community are not concerned about the appearance of their neighborhoods.
In our city exist a big number of houses painted by graffiti, and that makes our city look dirty.

I think that a way to end this problem is give a special place for painting and not to paint the houses of people.
It is important to worry about maintaining a beautiful city to give a good image to people who visit us.

It’s common to see that the problems increase when a city grown up, Tuxtla Gutierrez isn’t the exception. We can’t compare with other cities like the D.F but the persons that live here a lot of time can feel the change. Today it’s easy see or be a victim of the crime and the ways to solve the problems need to be reinforced, the things that the police and the government make before, today aren’t enough.

The government of Chiapas has been took measures to combat the street crime like give patrol cars, motorcycles or implement programs like “proximity policeman”. To eradicate the crime it’s important too the citizen participation.

The statistics point that Tuxtla is one of the better places to live, the report of the justice minister of the first four-month of the 2008, point that Tuxtla Gutierrez has fall of 14 percent compared with the same period of the last year in the commission of crime that considered of high impact.

In the crime with arms, the study point a fall of 50 percent, the vehicles steal have a fall of 46 percent and the violation a fall of 31 percent less compared with the 2007.

The statistics are favourable, but the government still has a long road to cover to make the live in Tuxtla better.
