Mother Teresa was born in Akopje, Kosovo in what is now the Republic of Macedonia.
At the age of 18 she was given permission to join a group of nuns in Ireland. After a few months of training Mother Teresa travelled to Calcutta, India where she formally accepted the vows of a nun.
Throughout her life Mother Teresa has been given some of the most prestigious awards throughout the Globe.

He was the Head of Government of the Federal District (in the capital of the country) from 2000 to 2005, before resigning in July 2005 to contend the 2006 presidential election, representing the Coalition for the Good of All, a PRD-led coalition that also includes the Convergence party and the Labor Party.
